Day 1 Mombasa-Shimba Hills
A short (1 hour) drive takes you to the cool, refreshing forest of shimba Hills. This afternoon’s game drive takes you on a search for elephant, buffalo and the rare roan antelope. Overnight: Shimba Hills Lodge

Day 2 Shimba Hills-Mombasa
Enjoy a morning game drive before breakfast. Return to Mombasa around midday.

Day 1 Mombasa-Chale Island
A short boat trip takes you across the narrow waterway to the romantic island of Chale. Pristine beaches and amazing rock formations are just two of the island’s jewels. Overnight: Chale Island Paradise

Day 2 Chale Island
The day is at leisure to enjoy the various optional activities offered at your resort. You might want to walk around the island (it takes just an hour), try snorkeling, canoeing, fishing or just relaxing and enjoy the unspoilt surroundings. Overnight: Chale Island Paradise

Day 3 Chale Island-Mombasa
After breakfast, take a short boat trip back to Mombasa.

Day 1 Mombasa-Tsavo West (BL)
This morning drive to Tsavo West, part of Kenya’s largest National Park. This afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park. Tonight watch for wildlife as they come to the lodge’s floodlit waterhole. Overnight: Kilaguni Lodge

Day 2 Tsavo West-Amboseli (BLD)
Drive to Amboseli, designated a National Park in 1977. Most famous for its elephant population, Amboseli is also home to a variety of other game, including lion, cheetah and hyena. Overnight: Ol Tukai Lodge

Day 3 Amboseli-Taita Hills (BLD)
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, continue to Taita Hills, a privately-owned game sanctuary. Enjoy game viewing in the sanctuary this afternoon. Overnight: Salt Lick Safari Lodge

Day 4 Taita Hills-Mombasa
Return to Mombasa, arriving around mid-day.

Day 1 Mombasa-Tsavo West
Depart Mombasa this morning and drive to Tsavo National Park – Kenya’s largest National Park. Tsavo is divided into two halves, known as East and West. Your drive takes you into Tsavo West, once home to more than 50,000 elephants. Drive past Mzima Springs. Fed by the waters draining from Mt. Kilimanjaro, the springs form an oasis for a wide variety of wildlife. Overnight: Severin Camp

Day 2 Tsavo West- Taita Hills
After an early breakfast and game drive, continue to Taita Hills Private Reserve. Once a private sisal plantation, Taita Hills is almost 170 sq. kms. Of lush forest, cascading waterfalls and abundant game. Your afternoon game drive might reveal buffalo, waterbuck, elephant and more. Tonight, be sure to spend time at the waterside blind at your lodge- the animals are so close you can count their whiskers! Overnight: Salt Lick Lodge

Day 3 Taita Hills Mombasa
Depart for Mombasa this morning, arriving around midday.

Day 1 Arrive Mombasa
Arrive in Mombasa where you will be met and transferred to your choice of beach hotel. Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club or Nyali Beach Club

Day 2 Mombasa
A full day at leisure to enjoy the hotel’s water-based optional activities or simply relax poolside. Why not take an optional Dhow Cruise or enjoy the Sun et Lumiere Show this evening? Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club or Nyali Beach Club

Day 3 Mombasa
The day begins with a tour of Mombasa including a visit to Fort Jesus and the Akamba Wood Carvers. After lunch at a local Chinese restaurant, travel to Haller Park (formerly know as the Bamburi Nature Trail). The area was reclaimed from a coal quarry and turned into a nature trail. Along with a chance to see a working fish farm, hippos, buffalo, antelope and birdlife may also be seen. Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club or Nyali Beach Club

Day 4 Mombasa-Shimba Hills (BD)
Today drive to Shimba Hills National Park, a 320 Square kilometer forest, first made a reserve in 1903. among the species found here are the handsome and rare roan antelope and sable antelope. Tonight enjoy nocturnal game viewing at your lodge’s floodlit waterhole. Overnight: Shimba Hills Forest Lodge

Day 5 Shimba Hills-Mombasa
Return by road to Mombasa today, where the remainder of the day is at leisure.
Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club or Nyali Beach Club

Day 6 Mombasa
A final day to enjoy the beach or perhaps take an optional excursion in Mombasa.
Overnight: Indian Ocean Beach Club or Nyali Beach Club

Day 7 Mombasa
You will be transferred to the airport for departing flight today.

Day 1 Lamu
A scheduled flight takes you to Manda Island where a dhow transfer takes you across the waterway to Lamu Island. Lamu is one of Kenya’s oldest towns and a perfect place to both explore historical ruins and relax on secluded beaches. The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight: New Lamu Palace Hotel
