Deep Sea Fishing
Leave after breakfast for deep sea fishing.
You can spend 4, 6 or 8 hours, and can choose small or big boat.
Deep sea fishing is fun. Anyone can
catch fish and enjoy this magnificent sport. Kenya offers some of
the best Deep Sea Fishing with a large variety of fish close to
the shore. A day spent fishing is an adventure in itself. All boats
are well maintained and manned by very experienced crew. Crews are
well versed at taking out newcomers to fishing and will enjoy showing
you how it all works.
Game fishing in this area is
excellent and many of the large fish have been caught in these waters.
Good catches of Tuna and Wahoo are made in September and October.
While December to March is very good for Marlins. Sailfish are caught
throughout the season. Kingfish, Wahoo, Barracuda and Giant Trevally
are found closure inshore. Other fish caught are Dorados and various
species of shark.

SOUNDS AND LIGHT AT FORT JESUS
Transfer from your hotel to board a dhow that takes
you on an evening tour up to the old port of Mombasa. You’ll
then rejoin Fort Jesus, where you’ll be welcomed by entertainers
dressed in costumes depicting the era of Vasco da Gama.
A spectacle, reminiscent of the turbulent past when
the Portuguese fought the Arabs, will be enacted, in a sound and
light atmosphere. A candle –lit dinner will be served right
inside the Fort. Transfer back to your hotel around 2300hrs.
