Full day Wasini Island
Depart from the hotel at 06h00for the excursion crossing
the Likoni Channel by ferry to get to the mainland, South Coast.
The short journey takes you through cashew nuts and palm tree plantations
and also gives you an insight into the lifestyle of the local people.
We reach at Shimoni around 09h00 where will have our breakfast,
after which we proceed to the jet and whereby we take a dhow for
Kisite Marine Park.
Enjoy a fascinating guided snorkeling safari
in the famous Kisite – Mpunguti Marine Park. Kisite has an
extensive reef system and is home to dolphins, turtles an exciting
variety of coral life and an abundance of vibrantly coloured tropical
fish. Snorkelling is followed by the exhilarating experience of
a dhow under sail “swimming with the dolphins”. Later
sailed to Wasini Island for lunch which is mainly seafood also vegetarians
have the share too. After lunch we take a village walk to see the
lifestyle of the local people who population is around 700 people
and are Swahili. After walk we embark our dhow and sail back to
shimoni to board the bus and start journey back to the hotel arriving
around 18h00 or 19h00 in the evening

Full Day Excursion to View Mt Kilimanjaro
For mountain enthusiasts, we have an excursion that
leaves the hotel at 05h00, arriving in
Taveta, the Kenya / Tanzania border town around 09h00, or just before
when the mountain peak usually appears from its mantle of clouds.
Drive straight to lake Challa, the viewpoint of Mount Kilimanjaro,
from where you can view its snow-capped peaks presiding over the
landscape, and take superbly memorable pictures. The settings is
unrivalled!!!
En route you’ll be crossing Tsavo national park,
the largest in Kenya, where you might be lucky to spot some good
game grazing by or crossing the road, such as elephants, buffalos,
giraffes, zebras, gazelle, dik-dik, warthog, predators such as hyena,
lion, leopard, jackal, wild dog, etc. Tsavo is also considered the
Baobab country, besides other species of flora that abound here.
The tour ends on drop off at the hotel around 18h00.
NB: You can also opt for an overnight in Tsavo
West after viewing Mt. Kilimanjaro.
